Born into the bright light,
now an angel of the wing,
listen to the silence,
you can hear me softly sing.
Reborn of the past,
yet memories are not clear,
I feel there is something missing,
of the world I held so dear.
Love does surround me,
as I play my role,
to be the guardian angel,
of the chosen soul.
Skies of indigo blue,
are taken by my wings,
as I glide to destination,
in all of worldly things.
A world of disorder,
before me now to claim,
as I pull on the draw string,
Cupids arrow has great aim.

You have a beautiful spirit and soul Karl, to write such beautiful words and so eloquently you pen to perfection with the entire poem flowing and rhyming so well together with perfect meter too.
Lovely sentiments which caress your soul and dance in your mind lingering like a song you love. Are you a songwriter too I wonder? Reckon so! You should be anyway.
