Fallen down the tunnel and cant seem to return
...Fallen angels wings turn to dust as they burn...
The angel cries
Through her burned, blackned eyes
And cant seem to define the lines
...Of time...
...Of insanity...
Her skin aches and tingles as she peels the flesh away
Returning to her mind, she whistles the tune the demons would play
Her heart is broken
Inside the cave she calls a chest
The ghosts have 'waken
Now the time is for the guest
She weeps and moans
Knowing she's alone
Having nothing but a mistaken life
and she still holds her head up after all the pain and strife
The blackened angel cries
From the demons telling lies
Holding her heart inside her hands
She looks up to the sky and drops onto the sand
Her rotting corpse reaks of deceit
But the blackened angel still stands on her feet
like it?
