Betrayal's Storm

Missing image

Once passionate love,
      now constant turmoil
  as ecstacy turns to hate
        in betrayal's storm...

Roses of affection losing beauty,
      bearing poisonous thorns ~
  painful reminders
of love not meant to be...

~ this is not about my wife i love you, baby!

I love the end "Roses of affection, losing beauty/bearing poisonous thorns/painful reminder/of love not meant to be." There is pain and beauty in love. Sometimes it works out, other times it does not. But that is because God has different plans for us and maybe another person we are meant to be with. Amazing write and good luck in the contest.

Something very painful in these words, description of a ragged reality, which perfectly fits the picture. Especially the words about roses of affection losing beauty and bearing poisonous thorns.
