It's A Musical World

In my life I’ve some across so many things,
In my-chemical-romance life of beauty,
Evanescence surrounds me in a whirlwind,
My plaque of four star Mary’s emblems,
The Sunday’s hours draw on,
I’ve seen much of Europe, such a dainty
cradle of filth such as the twisted strings of life,

Marilyn Manson’s breath-dead songs breathe megadeath
to me,
I go three doors down to such a simple plan,
Such as a lamb of god breeds bullets to hell’s slipknot,
Surrounded by these murder dolls, swinging their 36 crazy fists around,
Taking steps to my destiny’s child, walking along with her
Dire strait’s beauty, bleeding into me,

Some rolling stones creep in before me,
Breaking Benjamin, killing all before me,
These endless guns and roses kill and fade before my eyes,
Listen here to my good charlotte, she knows they way forward,
I know that if you don’t cease your distractions,
We could fall out, boy,
Enter this nirvana, with caution,
Remain faithful to the status quo,

Travel far to Aberdeen,
And try out your bowling for soup,
Stars arrive and explode, cascada,
Overcome by Dragonforce,
Broken down by social distortion,

    These are definitely my favorite lines, they flow so well and the poem itself is very well put together. There are some places where it is possible that you made a typo but I figured them out so don't worry!

    The bands were a bit forced in spots, but you did manage to get them in and it was a great effort on a difficult subject. I actually recognized more bands than I thought I knew. Good luck in the contest and hold your head up high, for you took a chance where many others passed.

      I agree with you it's hard to fit in so many bands but I bloody did it lol I'm proud of the piece and really like it I hope I get somewhere in the contest too

    Overall pretty good, though I did feel that in places it was more of a case of getting the band name in than keeping the flow going. you have some interesting abstract images, a few of which I found a little difficult to 'see'

    Well done and good luck in the contest.

    PS. You have no need to feel inadequate, this shows a good deal of talent
