Oh how such a poetic, tale so tragic,
filled with doubt, despair and magic,
her dearest Angel, a kindred soul,
in such little time, her heart he stole,
A love so sweet and oh, so tender,
to which they both surrender,
with every kiss he feels such pain,
and tries once more to leave again,
But love held on and kept them close,
Buffy felt it in her heart, the host,
Their tragic dance at the hight-shool parade,
for one night they masquerade,
Moonlight shining in their eyes,
stealing moments under nightly skies,
As the daylight draws so near,
Angel now must disappear,
leaving Buffy all alone,
In silent moments they atone,
Her dearest love and fatal rose,
Her Angel, heart-ache, only knows,
He tried to give up all one night,
To stay awake until the light,
Buffy pleaded, begged and cried,
How would she still live if Angel died?
She told him the meaning of strength and hope,
He told her how he could not cope,
He asked, "Am I a righteous man?"
Buffy stared and then she ran,
He pushed her down "The world wants me gone,"
She looked at him, her eyes withdrawn,
"I know everything you did, you did it to me,"
and then Angel could finally see,
Hand in hand, into the snow,
Away from they dawn they will go,
The end of the story how it nears,
Angel will leave Buffy in tears,
Still burns love's eternal fire,
Between the slayer, and her vampire,

Huzzah! More Buffy poetry from the great Buffy poetess! The only thing I felt was a little odd in this poem was the third stanza, which broke the rules of the other stanzas with only two lines. It seems to b missing something.
