In a town full of feather-grey trees
light with the promise of olives,
I bought a bottle of languishing
amber-coloured perfume.
I wore it for the last
slippery days of the summer
to keep the night-time cocktails
and wild warm waves
tucked into the pores on my skin.
And for you?
