i am still young, this i feel,
i've walked some miles on life's road,
i am still young, with a long way to go,
i just carry a heavier load.
our children are full grown,
a few more miles we've known,
and i haven't walked alone.
you still look young, so my eyes see,
the miles we've walked, we've shared,
you still look young as you walk with me,
so our load is easy to bear
the ease of our future we have sown,
through three and a half decades we have grown,
and our future is still unknown
so we are still young...
