This Background isn't very text friendly and although the colours jump out at me this doesn't seem very text friendly but that just what it looks like to me.

Wow, gorgeous colours! Love the vibrancy of them
Unfortunately I have to highlight everything to read it
As suggested below maybe using this as a side image would be better. You did a great job with blending it to, as I've just said to another blending sky with land etc isn't the easiest task. I'm not sure what colour font would be good with this, maybe black or a dark blue one perhaps. The picture is beautiful tho, very warm and inviting.

Oh my, is this a picture from around where you live? This scene would be awesome to view in real life. A yummy color, best wishes

Hi Marilisa,
Did I guess right?
The colors in this image are beautiful! Unfortunately, as is, because of the amount of contrast in the image, it is not a legible background. Your reversal of the image on the right bothers me, also.
This would be a beautiful border image, or may work as a background image if it was layered with a light gold background.
1. design/composition 16.8
2. originality(of concept) 17.0
3. color(compatibility) 18.0 A bit more care needed when choosing font colors.
4. execution 17.4
(effects/clarity/resolution/seamless)
5. legibility 15.0
(readability/sufficient contrast between type and background.)
TOTAL 84.2 -

Hello

Wow! What a splash of colour!
Well, first impression....I believe this would be Great as a Bord only......even with only one colour, it still works......however, the Font is going to be limited to what you can use.....and I would have to see your Back before I could make a fair assessment or critique.....nonetheless, I shall try

Thank you so much for coming out and entering the first B & B Contest.....God bless you,
Bear ~
Title ...17.2...love the Title....but I suggest, * Autumn Cocktail* ....leave it singular and cap that * C *~
Colours...15.4....a tad too vibrant as Back....wonderful as Bord.... not able to use many fonts on this if used as Back ~
Creativity....12.75...not much went into building this, but it sure is a good start
~ Presentation....12.0...simple....almost too plain....but as a Bord, it sure would improve on aesthetics ~
First Impression....12.0...too bright......for me.....I would like to see this toned down a bit.....most of it is pinks and cranberry....not too much contrasting going on ~
Bears Score: 69.35
Not bad.....sure would like to see what it looks like as a Bord once the contest closes

No editing once a Judge has touched your work ~

Gorgeous coloring! But hard to read the font on. I think this would be beautiful as just the border, with soft blending for the background - as I really love the coloring! just my thoughts
best wishes in the contest.
