I'll miss you and I've cried some tears
I've thought of you and I've wondered why,
But I can get up every morning with a smile
I know I'm gonna make it through without you.

You've given me only good memories
I could never forget how much I cared,
But you're gonna find better than me
And I'll never look for better than you.

Sometimes I still hope that you think of me,
And write poetry in secret of missing me,
But in truth it doesn't really make a difference
Cus soon you're gonna be writing about her.

I guess I just lost what I never hoped for.

To make you the happpiest man in the world.

You don't believe me when I say I'm sorry,
But it's true in every essence of the phrase.
Honest I wish I could've been that girl
But now I guess I won't have to be.

I miss what we had as best friends
I miss seein' your face as the last thing;
The last thing before I slept each night
To fall asleep thinking of your embrace.

I wasted what we had I s'pose,
But I move on with my heart still in one piece.
