Closer to our hearts, while
Lost are the closed minds
Economizing thoughts outside the box
Sliding doors shut tight from inside
Disturbance is spread world wide
Offering the gift of painful tears
Hosting the party, welcoming terrorism
Apprehending the right to breathe freely
Puppets we have become chained to our own demise
Precipitating self-destruction all around, in
Every corner we see bloody rivers flowing
Nabbing the moment before it could smile
Beliefs we talk about
Entwined with words of
Lost wisdom lying with a smile
Instilling twisted meanings of religions
Evolving mankind to degradation
Vaccinating cure for humanity that
Escalates compassion and peace
In such times we now live, but
Truth still remains the same - miracles do happen, believe it!
