Alone today I am
after devastation by storm acute
and I am unaware about my parents
but heard that sea hunger has made me a destitute.
I was playing with my friends
when Tsunami fury took us aback
but parents had been to fishing in the sea
and I was waiting for them to come back.
I am looking at the distant horizon
and trying to understand the void future
but hoping against hope for the sea- angel to come
to hand over loving parents for my nurture.
I am calling you, my loving God
with total submission as your faithful
and I am sure to get your benevolent touch
to bring cheers and make my life again beautiful.

Nice take on the quote. Your poem is more of a "have faith" type then trying to explain it to me. But then you have to wonder is it "faith" you have or "hope"? And can the too be the same?
Thanks for entering and good luck!
Hugs!!!

I tried to express the result rather than reasoning.
Hope comes from faith and faith comes from hope.... so both are complimentary.
Be well always.
