Innocence Lost (Collective Symphony, painting #13)

Here on purple mountains, majesty stage
freedoms curtains fell in agony's rage.
No mercy was given, no quarter was shown
terrors vicious depths, became clearly known.

From distant horizons dusty gray shrouds
spawned in darkness under shadowed clouds
from evil hate practiced in religions name,
shameless violence, mayhem and murder came.

Through heavens blue skies piano key portals
pass three thousand souls of innocent mortals;
whose fate was sealed shortly after sunrise,
as unsuspecting targets of 9/11's evil demise

Al Quida music plays it's own lyrics wrong
deadly desert echoes of a sand buried song
snake charmers composed misconceptions
deaf Cobra's aphonic fluted transitions.

From waste lands oasis surrounded by sand
they saw Americas bread basket towers stand
misconceived as infidel flutist rising snakes
they created deadly insanities venomous mistakes.

In God's spiritual theater, on mans palladium stage
behind valanced curtains, where good and evil engage,
pleated by freedoms transcending pinnacle path of destiny
3000 souls now play in heavens "collective symphony."

    Awesome Intepretation!

Astounding your perception on this prompt. You have by words and inner soul felt what you see with your spiritual eyes here. A fantastic interpretation with vivid imagery..The day of infamy for America you have made as you close in show of universal testimony of a "collective symphony" attesting to the injustice, and failure of the perpetrators to ever succeed. Your vocabulary is astounding, your imagery and rhyme and flow sensational.A masterpiece of a write, dear brother, Sister Rose Angel

    Wow This Is Just Brilliant

Wow I'm speechless. Your poem here says so much and is created so well with the history of 9/11. I could see the picture and as I read and reflected on the picture you saw a lot of things in there that I did not see. Brillian like I said and the ryhme and flow is flawless. Thank you for sharing with me and this part is beautiful,
