September Song

Missing image
September breeze echoes,
In Pennsylvanian hills,
Ganders begin gathering,
in sunrise crisp and still.

Hues of autumn's bouquet,
spread nature's canopy.
Reds, golds and crimson,
splendor bursts on tree.

Shadows cast, end of day,
downhill mountain stream.
Trickling through seasons,
reflecting sunlight's beam.

Nestled in valley below,
hustle and bustle unfound.
Layed back way of living,
nature's colors surround..

Over hill and over dale,
green of summer gone.
September breeze blow,
past autumn and beyond.

Well now Sandy you words do paint a beautiful picture of our home state. It is still green here and the days are still hot. But I am starting to see signs of fall. A very peaceful write. As the days of summer are coming to a close and the beauty of Autumn comes in..makes you want to sit back and take deep breaths just to relax and the visions of you words form in the mind. Enjoyed.

    Excellent

A very nice write, indeed. Reminds me of the canyons around the Seattle area. Imagery, rhythm and rhyme are just fine.

    ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!!!

Over on the other side of the state it has not begun yet to change but back up north where I am orginally from it changes by now and the peak is about three weeks away. The beautiful picture reminds me of many little quiet streams back home with the vivid colors and shallow, narrow streams. 's

Lovely look at the end of summer as fall bring new colors to engulf the landscape and forest as leaf change color to fall for winter. Reader are drawn into the read with vivid description and sense of standing in the wood to watch wind strip tree of leaf.
