Love

Is one word that brings peace."

One word very much
overlooked
which holds the key
to world peace.

A word of hope,
charity,
joy,
fulfillment.

This word, Love,
often maligned
misinterpreted
misused.

Too much hollowness out there today
shallowness which breeds
discontent, which in turn leads to
hatred, strife, warfare, and destruction.

Love can make it all right.
It can set us free from
demons that have taken hold,
save us from inner turmoil.

In our complacency,
we have forgotten what it means
to feel, to care
so we move like zombies from day to day, causing havoc.

Love is the Light
shining brightly in the horizon
waiting for us to
reach out and touch.

Love is the key
that will open the doorways of joy.
Let us reach out to Love
leave the shallowness and the hollowness behind.
