We're all swept up in the dizzy dance of fate
Laughing and crying and holding and kissing
We act so naive,
We're all in love and we've all gotten hurt.
All so fucked up
We love these broken lives we lead
As siblings, lovers, friends and strangers
We're all so bound to each other.
A smile to my lips
The sound of your voices brings
I'm so captivated by the angel wings on each of your backs
Moved to tears by the blood between the feathers.
We're all so beautiful
So flawed, to the point of perfection
We're all so afraid
That we can't help but be true.
In life, and in death
In love, and in pain
I'll stand beside all of you
I'll smile for you the same way I always do.
