Looking out she thinks "Why me?",
Her soulmate lost out at sea.
She is now all lonely and alone,
Back in to loneliness she is thrown.
Once loved and due to be married,
Now her husband is to be buried.
She stands on the jetty,
Imagining all the confetti.
Wishing he would just come back,
Thinking "Why did you have to leave Zach?"
As the sea calls out to her,
It's Zach...but her mind is just a blurr.
Waiting & waiting but to no avail,
A grave ending to her fairy tale.
As he is gone forever,
He said he would leave her never.
But the sea has taken him now,
To the sea he pledged the vow.
Leaving her just waiting for him,
Making her life without him just grim.
