The golden dawn solicits
Crisp morn to frolic
On April 31st
Just another day in the spring.
But to her this day is special
For yesterday it poured
The rain came down like SS troops
Today there is relief.
Today she gets to slop around
In her new cowboy boots
Well they are not new, and in fact,
They are 4 sizes too big.
But grandpa gave them to her
Just for this purpose.
So here she goes tramping
Through the field
Mud up to her neck.
Kids have the darnedest ways of having fun.
Mama calls and the boots come off
She goes running.
Ice cream!

You caught the superb joyfulness of childhood, bursting with delight at puddle romp-n-stomping in the attire of adored adulthood. She's blessed with soul-satisfying understanding and love from prime movers in her world. Fortunate, happy child!
