there is no greater love
then a mother's for her child
the bond between is unbreakable
the closeness etched in stone
a mother will fight to the death
til she takes her last breath in
for a child that is hers
body, soul and heart
unconditionally we stand beside
protecting what is ours
keep them safe and give them praise
always watching over them
this bond and love it grows in time
its something that does not fade
even when their no longer children
a mothers love will never stop

i looked at the picture and in my mind i saw a mother and her child......so i let it take me to my heart....were my own children hold a special part of it
