People line the sides,
Some are sick,
Some are dying,
Some already dead.
Don't go down the hall,
Or up the steps,
Why?
I never liked it.
She died in her room,
Her part of the house was there.
I've got to leave,
If I don't I'll go crazy.
A Russian man talks to his mom,
One minute he's here,
The next minute she's here.
In a bed a man twist and turns,
He looks at me,
I look away.
There's an errand for me,
I'll take it,
Anything to get the heck of here.
Only problem is the light's by my dad.
I have to get
Have to get the light, purse, and keys.
I'm in the car,
I've made it.
Now the directions,
I don't know where I'm supposed to go.
I can't go back in,
I won't go back in.
So I sit here,
Strapped down with fear,
All I can do is leave,
Leave this horrid place behind,
Leave the people who are so friggin' crazy,
They make me crazy.
I have to leave.

Uh, yeah, woke up 'bout twenty minutes ago, this was basically my dream. Weirdest and creepiest dream I've had in a long time and I probably won't sleep until later tonight.
No idea where this came from, except maybe all the weird movies I watched yesterday.
As weird as I thought it was, hope you enjoyed it.

Sometimes our dreams make for great poetry!
It's not always easy to remember them and I am
glad that you did for this one. The movies that
we watch and the places that we visit throughout
our lives play a big part in our dreams. Sometimes we just can't help but to relive them over and over.

It is unusual, but it is a dream, and you have brought it to life in a well thought out verse. Maybe you need to start watching a different genre of movie?? Nice work, Cheers Tws...
