    This is quite the different haiku. Interesting, to say the least. Makes me shiver a bit. I don't like the extremes of winter but love the variety of Fall. Good work here poet. I wish you well in the contest.

    Simply Stunning ...

    I love the winter, especially when there is fresh snow fall or thick frost as it is resheshing, just like this poem. I sing for the icing on the world. The background is beautiful and well matched backdrop for this Haiku
