I Don't Care If It's The Moon

What do we do in this little creepy world?
Dance whenever the sun is on fire
this frenzy has been unfurled
feeling like we're balancing on wire

mentos and diet coke
neon lights ablaze
shopping til' we're broke
love the latest craze

Can you feel the heat
warming up your seat
wearing an old blue hat
beware the black cat

scream at the top of your lungs
some old lady down the street clucks her tongue
I ohh and aah at the big white balloon
I don't really care if it's the moon

I loved reading this. It's not really like any other poem I've ever read. And I like how the ending connects everything to the title. Thanks for your entry!
