Transfer Old Consciousness

Missing image
Old consciousness draws us back,
like metal to a magnet,
to our source of unified wholeness.
We realize harmony and oneness with the universe.

With achieved enlightenment,
we are freed from the shackles
of all mundane suffering.
Like a lovingly nourished seed,
we grow into true joy and peace.
Everything needed or desired,
comes to us intuitively.

The inner light shines,
immaculate and unbound,
perfect and inherently wise,
free and complete,
awakening the intangible, luminous
and formless core of our existence.

We can once again move along smoothly,
without resistance or clinging,
with the knowledge that we
are part of the infinite flow of life.

    Very well done!

Even though it was written for a different prompt, I think it fits well here. I will definitely return to it to give it another look. A well written piece that relates well the complexities of life and living.

    Awwww Patty this is beautiful!

You have a very beautiful angelic soul and spirit Patty, this just ooozes through into your fabulous and phenomenal work and this poem being no exception too! Loved the start here...

    Old consciousness draws us back,
    like metal to a magnet,
to our source of unified wholeness.
We realize harmony and oneness with the universe.

You have such an understanding of the universe as if you had studied Karmic Law (my pet subject), you never cease to amaze me with your phenomenal talent, you write with eleoquence, depth of feeling soul and spirit so ascended I wonder if you are really an earthbound angel in disquise masquerading as a mere mortal amongst us.. yeah reckon that is the way it is, I am right aren't I?!
Your words are beautiful what a brilliant take on the painting here, and flow and rhyme plus meter to me are pefection.

    Loved this bit too...

Wow how do you do it? You just get things so spot on, geee you must be an angel, a mere mortal could never pen like this and with such beautiful sentiments right from the core and soul of you and you have brought this painting to life so well and animated it with its own personality, bravo, love it write on you are for sure a Poet Laureate!
If only we could award every entrant a Gold in these contests, its not fair, you well deserved a Gold this is fantastic work. I didn't envy JoAn with the solo job of judging this contest.

Wow Kaz! Your comments never cease to amaze me, and I feel so honored and blessed to have connected with you here. I truly believe that it is not accidental who comes into our lives, and crosses our paths at various times in our lives. I'm not sure I am an angel. Maybe just a flawed human trying her best to learn and grow from all experiences, good and bad, here on this sometimes very shaky and scary place we call earth. You too have a beautiful soul that shines brightly through. I appreciate your friendship and your writings too. I believe you have one of the most cooperative muses I have ever seen. You stun me with how much you write, and you always do such a great job too. Not many can do that you know? Blessings to you, Patty

I really liked what you did with the picture prompt. It's a very spiritual poem. I don't know you very well, but I can assume you are very knowledgeable about spirituality and that you are a person very in tune with the "infinite flow of life" as you call it. I just loved the whole journey aspect of the poem and how it's the steps to enlightenment and knowledge. Beautiful. good luck!

    sincerely,
