time slows down,
with the tick, tock of the rhythmic clock
Im a mess
disheveled
contemplation
of my
current status
complete speculation,
my mind the apparatus.
Im lost,
will someone please find me?
Ive seemed to run out of bread crumbs
perhaps I should climb that tree.
See life from another perspective
and know that somehow all of the
sorrowful events are connected.
What is sunshine,
without the rain?
What is happiness,
without the pain?
What is a brighter tomorrow,
without are darkened today?
It will soon be worth it,
come what may.
I try to remember that,
as I write my own tragedy.
I try to breathe deep as I slip
into insanity.
Im alone,
Is there anyone there?
is it senseless to think
that you will answer my prayer?
Dont worry
the sun will shine for me tomorrow...
or the next day...
or the next...
