chewing on words left undone
sleeping on insanities swept under the rug
simpering in this hole I freshly dug
wond'ring and scheming about the life unlived
shifting my memories over a sieve
praying for the day when I forgive
Slipping away into labels branded
dreading every breath passed abandoned
desperate to glimpse you candid
living on a dream

Roots are solitary stems of love,
growing deeper admiration,
as time and cloud spill rain, above,
in climate's fresh imagination.
Thanks to you
