A zipper is a simple thing
Like a simple song to sing
You know what is is right from the start
So everyday, you don't take it to heart
But what would we do without this tool?
Would we end up a rambling fool?
No zippers to jeans, cases or coats
To purses or bags, to boots or to totes
So yes although it is everyday
I must confess I can proudly say
A zipper is simple indeed,
But a zipper is something we truly need.

Ha. So true. One time in fifth grade, I was zipping up my jacket, or trying, with great force, and basically it broke, and the momentum (I'm not sure if that is the right term) caused my hand to keep going, with the zipper, and it scratched my face. Yeah. It bled. I have a scar. No joke.

when we have zippers to work with,it really does bring some odd looks to faces,as we become embarrassed or as you said do creative things with it, thank you for this cute entry

its true. your fly would be unzipped, stuff would fall out of your purse, you'd be freezing your toes off in winter if your coast couldn't zipper. we really do need zippers.
