The moon weaves its light,
embracing our bodies, and our
shadows move gently on the wall.
Even in the pale illumination,
I see your eyes darken with expectation.
I lean forward, our mouths barely touching,
with the feel of warm breath sensual on our lips.
I can feel the heat of you drawing me in, closer,
until our lips meet… softly, tenderly.
I love the faint taste of your lipstick,
warmed by the heat of your lips
and the tenderness of our kiss.
How I would enjoy pushing your hair back
and allowing my kisses to move across your cheek…
to the welcoming heat of your neck…
moving upward to trace the outline of your ear…
then back to find your mouth…
feeling the welcoming opening as our tongues touch,
exploring the intimate feel and sensations of each other…
my hands cradling your face softly…
feeling the rising passion of the moment but
holding it back to enjoy the moments of our kiss…
Anticipation is nature’s aphrodisiac
and moments like these are the heart's memories.
