The Broken Child

Eyes peeled back in horror,
disbelief drowns my head.
I want to overcome this. God, please
give me the strength. How could
he do this to me? A child waiting,
solemn- shiny paint with no chips.
He stooped down. He did it.
A child, God. How? Forgive me, please,
I am tainted. A lord must know my faith.
I never meant to succumb. But words,
they fell from me. He took them.
Why did he do it? So young, so pretty.
A peacefulness shaken
by the hands of a devil.

Please tell me what you think

    Oh gosh!
    This is so heart-wrenching
I can hear the tears in the childs eyes
I can feel the pain in the childs scream
You make this piece so hard to read
But yet, so easy to understand.
It's so hard to watch a child
go through such hard things in life.
    When something like this happens,
I want to reach out and save
    every child I hear about.
    Children are innocent creatures
they should not be treated with such
    injustice and with no dignity.
Thank you for sharing this painful piece.

    Much Luv & Respect!
