She was just in her teens.
The joy and excitement was so much.
The nanny sat over there.
Well, what she really wanted to know was,
"Are there any Pirates around here?"
She saw the ship leave dock, waving to all.
Now down to her cabin, un-packing her things as told.
They boarded at ten, and lunch was at noon.
Everything had a time she was told.
Finding the Pirates was her goal.
After dinner she walked about the decks.
Saying, "Hi" to all her parents's friends.
Once in a while she saw some kids.
A kid she was not, they were kids.
Now off to the side of the ship, a pirates's flag to see.
Well, not on the first day, that was too much to expect.
It was the fourth day still nothing new.
Well, Friday night, no one said a word.
They called it party time, and dress up.
There they were about fifteen upon the deck-PIRATES.
What a time she had, they were all about the deck.
PIRATES they were everywhere!
One was her dad, she thought for sure.
Her mom said, "Happy Suprise Dear Sweet Sixteen!
"Are there enough Pirates around here for you My Little Dear?"

A very cute entry on another topic of interest. Charming theme and well written in a story form for the youth in mind. Line nine has a typo that made the read confusing on that line. This girl's fascination with pirates likely would promote their interest in dressing like them for her sake.Thank you for your entry. It made interesting and humored reading! Cute from begining to end!
