Enchanted fairy in the woods
Looking up to see what she can find
Peace Within her heart, soul, and mind
Dreaming of the sunlit skies
she may only find within her eyes
Darkness lurks all around her feet
She can feel her heart beat
She is frightened of what she may find
She thought she’d left her worries behind
Enchanted fairy in the woods
Follow your intuition
Your soul, your mission
For you shall not stray away
Continue living day by day
Looking up to see what she can find
Peace Within her heart, soul, and mind
Dreaming of the sunlit skies
she may only find within her eyes
Darkness lurks all around her feet
She can feel her heart beat
She is frightened of what she may find
She thought she’d left her worries behind
Enchanted fairy in the woods
Follow your intuition
Your soul, your mission
For you shall not stray away
Continue living day by day

It appears to be a somewhat uplifting poem. I like the message in it. Never give up, keep on moving.
I liked the lines:
Darkness lurks all around her feet
She can feel her heart beat
Great write.

A beautiful enchanted write showing a side of fairies seldom seen.

Firstly, thanks for having a link to the picture that prompted this poem in the Author Notes - it made all the difference, being able to see what it was exactly that inspired you.
Secondly, this was magical - really! I really enjoyed the way you had it both positive and negative; most people who think of fairies think of cuteness, and fairy dust, and being able to fly etc - but you showed her fear at being so small in such a big world, and hte possibilities of dangers out there - i liked that inclusive fact!
Thanks for entering and sharing this with us

This was very good, it really made me imagine a fairy in the woods looking up at the trees. You also used a nice vocabulary. You made me a little nervous, which is a thing that only a good poet can do, especially when you said she could feel her own heart beating.
Thank you for donating points

Oh this fairy is reminding me of myself! I love this poem so much!
She is pretending to be so strong yet terrified of the truth and the dangers not yet discovered.
My favorite lines are where you tell het to live one day at a time.
So much truth and wisdom locked up in this poem!
All the best in this contest! You did amazing with the prompt!
Keep well
