Leaving regret.

Bound by silken streams
of sunlight, she dances.
Held in that timeless moment
where one second meets another,
a solitary note, so pure
rises through the shadows
of her once forlorn heart.
No more tears will rend her face
she's moving through eternity
with grace and poise
leaving behind
coarse chains of regret.
