Twinkle Star

Magical visions

of fairies and imps,

Glittering sparkling.

As young eyes can glimpse.

At mermaids and treasures,

in far away lands.

Where dolphins can speak,

where father time stands.

Man on the moon,

has a whimsical grin.

Stars dancing to sounds,

on a child's violin.

Music awakens,

a mythical sphere;

Where pixies, trolls,

elf's all share.

Sprinkles of star dust,

as rainbows appear,

in the mind of a child,

where there's never a care.

Adorable, mystic and enchanting and perfect for the picture. Effortless rhyme made it a pleasure to read and the words danced in my head arond and around to a the music it creates

Hello. This is a cute little write; has a mystical ambience to it. Having seen the pic, I can understand how you have tied it in. The second to last stanza; line 1 and 3, the rhyme isn't as exact as in your other ones; deja vu, I said that about a recent poem of yours. Anyway, I wish you well in the contest, and in the extension of your family. My regards.
