Spring of Youth

Imbued in youth, cleansed of all illness,

strength returns and I am anew.

Ambient beauty leaves me breathless,

colors radiate a pearlescent hue.

A sweet bouquet fills the air,

letting me taste of perfection.

Pegasus struck his hoof with brilliant care,

allowing me to see my immortal reflection.

Stay by my side in your completeness,

as I continue my journey with you.

Good title and interpretation of the picture prompt. Heartfelt. A very nice story poem. Lovely depth of feeling. Good flow, rhyme and tone. Very nice meter. Good word choice, nice alliteration and assonance. Thank you for your entry.

Your fantasy just reeks of truth. Perhaps that's what fantasy truely is in the end. Whatever it is...you wove an excellent poem with beautiful words, as usual.
Good luck in the contest. This is great.
