Fussilade of feelings fraught.

Belief blustered along determination's spine
as time drew circles with feral breath
and turbulent tales grew slowly still,
as tornado's thrust subsided.

And oh how blessed life became
in a hush of golden hue,
pursuing pleasure's promises fair
in the care of calm's caress.

Old woes had drowned upon grief's seas
as peace played perfect host
and treasures fell from fresher skies,
as pain faded...soon was lost.

Yet circumstances whipped complaints
as restraints ruled mighty dread
and honesty loomed in reality's grip,
till death blew on abandonment's ails...

and now as sorrow's span unwinds
so rainbows can tease such truths,
rain readily waits in draughty trance
for tempest's gale to one day cease.

Love love love the way this moves and changes like the wind. The message is so relative to pretty much anyone, too. Emotive and strong. Wonderfully done.

Your skills as a poet just leave me speechless sometimes.

It is a skill, a powerful tool, to be able to change the pace and mood of a poem to fit the message and here in several parts it is done subtlely and masterfully, as the winds bring change...thank you for this fine entry into the contest and best of luck in the judging...PK
