Nightfall,
I was vexed in your firm embrace,
Your body pressed against mine,
Nightfall slowly passing.
Dawn,
your deed done, you get up and leave,
where are you going, my love?
He leaves, sun reaching zenith.
I cry jagged tears of salt and water,
Oceans of sorrow's lament,
Pieces of you lodged in my heart,
deep inside, penetrating my core.
How could you leave me like that?
How could you be so shallow?
All I know is with coming of the dawn,
you dropped the seed, and left me to wither.

from dusk til dawn, but a little more romantic.
yes, indeed...reminds me of romeo and juliet in some ways. -
Ahh yes.. I think we have all had a similar experience. Very painful it is and you have expressed the emotion eloquently!! Well done!
