I imagine...
raindrops
falling
softly
into
deep pools
of clear water
the tears of heaven
hitting their mark so easily
awash in your love, my dancing feet
move to the music of your voice
and carry my bowed head
along the currents
of rainbow light
where
the dark is not dark
for you are in it
but
a night without you
is painful...

This poem meant something different than I think it was intended, for me. A night without your soul mate or beloved..is painful.. that is what this felt like.. as though facing anything in the world was nothing..but.. being without that person.. is unbearable.

I too love the rain . . . Somehow the sound of it touching the leaves in the garden soothes me, takes me away from the mundane . . . beautiful words and form of expression Rhonda . . .
