She saw her future in his eyes,
It was as empty as his soul,
So why did she choose to stay?
Why couldn't she just go?
Holding onto hopes that are shattered,
Because giving up wouldn't matter,
Deep down in her heart,there's nothing but a howling wind,
She would give anything to be with him,
Watching the sun set,
With an eerie glow,
Just like the glowing ember's,
Soon start to fade just like her heart,
Running on empty from the start,
She knows LOVE is a illusion,
It can drown those who can't swim,
She knows it can break the strongest heart,
So why couldn't she stop loving HIM?
