Where you going, sis, leaving all your blues?
A light is filling your eyes.
Now’s the time, you’re fin’lly through,
You see the truth behind the lies.
There’s a bounce in your step, as you walk away.
Like someone I once knew.
It’s like you’re leaving your cares today.
Whatcha gonna do?
Your stride is now gaining speed,
You see a long-lost Love.
This unseen Guide takes the lead;
You’re flying like a dove.
Look at me! My eyes are wet!
My heart applauds the scene!
It tells me your hopes are met;
It must seem like a dream.
I gotta say, in spite of myself,
I think I’m gonna miss you.
But why should I stay on this shelf,
I think I’m going with you!
Our stride is now gaining speed,
We see a long-lost Love.

Hey- I liked the imagery in this one!
However, I did have a hard time figuring out exactly WHAT it was talking about- I was thinking either going to Heaven, leaving our old selves behind, or even a third thing... or all of the above!
It had a very refreshed, victorious feel to it, too... Godd stuff.
