I'm usually sensible
Reasonable, rational
I always have a backup plan
I'm usually logical
Never getting mental
I didn't think I'd need a man
But that's gone down the drain
I don't even want to complain
I'm shaking in delight
'Cause you're my Kryptonite
You're usually emotional
International, unstable
You never know what's ahead
You're usually adorable
Unusually lovable
Even if you don't use your head
That doesn't matter anymore
I'm better than I was before
I finally feel I'm alright
Even though you're my Kryptonite
Author notes
I had music in my head as I was writing this. . . It sounds better as a song.

Read the first stanza out loud. See if it doesn't twist your tongue. Go on, I dare you.

yeah it does sound groovy as a song...sometimes someone can be so wrong and so right at the same time, this is a perfect example.

This is beautiful... I think I've read a poem similar, but none-the-less, I loved this.
Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing.

Superb
I love this write. Using "Kryptonite *" as a metaphor for your feelings is great. I remember many of the early Superman movies/TV shows. Imagery; rhythm and rhyme are just fine. Keep on penning.

Yes it does sound like a song, you should explore that option.
