A young girl stands watching The cruise ships.
her mom and dad have just left on one.To tour another land.
Someday she'd like to go on one herself. To look at the magnificent ships. She counted 3 in the harbour.
Her aunt tells her it's time to leave. But she just stands and watches.by the time her parents return in 10 days school will start again and summer vacation will be over.
Watching the ships keeps her wondering of far away places.
To be old enough to travel.Oh if she could see the ships at night all lite up,oh that would be a treat.Oh! auntie do we have to go. i want to watch the ships.your parents will be back in 10 days.It will be night time then when they return.we will come back then. You wil see the ships at night.Oh goody seeing the ships all lite up, mom and dad back home. But then that means summer is done, and i go back to school.

I can tell by your write that you are familiar with the sea, which makes this poem all the more readable. It would have been easier to read if the picture was above the print. However this was a lovely perspective of a young girl's life by the sea. I could feel her heart as she expressed her desire to see the ships. Lovely youthful write!
