Doorway to Secrets!

Twas a fine day for a meander,
Through the sultry woods,
AS fine day to play explorer,
Twas a day of 'could's'!

Could I possibly discover,
A doorway to secrets perhaps?
Somewhere like no other,
Without any hidden mishaps!

To my surprise I found it,
The doorway to a secret realm,
Deep in a forest partially lit,
Near to a very slippery Elm!

My curiosity got the better of me,
I had to go and explore,
I had to have the audacity,
To go beyond that door!

Once through the magic doorway,
I found myself entranced,
For there in a wooded hallway,
Many fairies came to dance!

Suddenly my fate was sealed,
I became one of them,
Now I am a fairy concealed,
Behind the door of our den.

Through the doorway to secrets,
I dwell now for eternity,
And I shall have no regrets,
In joining my new fraternity!
