Dependant Souls

Ellegant, it flows through time
Glistening with stars
Swirling within darkness
Mesmerizing your soul with its touch
Take your soul
Taking it down
Give not to this colour of significance
Life depends on its breathing essence
Yet life is taken within its murky self
Destruction can lie embedded within
A life of pure wonder as we watch it
Mesmerized, by its beauty
The colour of life, is not what you think
Yet it's beauty is one we cannot live without
The grass of the planet lives cause of it
In which tred our tired feet,
Embrace it, smother it within you
As the life it brings one can't live without
As the silence of the world trickles
Down, deeper, into your soul

Author notes

Something strange for you. I'll be impressed if you figure out the colour as it can mean two colours but one in particular. I hope you like

I'm guessing your color is white/gold, like sunlight, but I'm not entirely sure! I love the poetic language in this piece.

"Mesmerized, by it's beauty" should be "mesmerized by its beauty."

Thanks for entering the contest, and good luck!

hehe those were two unexpected colours to hear, the colour i'm refering to is blue, being the colour of depression-first few lines and also the colour of water like in the oceans. a very gd take on the colours though and thanks for the critism on my gramma
