The sweet music of violin strings
Brings the near silent swish of owls' wings
On a beautiful starlit night
With only the moon for a nightlight
She pours her soul into the sound
The night absorbs it from all around
Her heart hurts from love unattained
The clouds empty out their cleansing rain
She lets loose all her sorrow
Awaits her life's tomorrow
All the while
Without guile
The sweetly sad music of strings
Brings the soundless swish of wings

I would like to be your sister or close cousin. Either is fine with me.

Oh Michelle,
It's so pretty...
I have read it twice. The title of the poem goes so well with each single line. I like the beginning and very ending. I like how it's match.
