As time seems to sail by us,
our world seems to become darker,
the lights dim as each day passes by.
At the start of life,
the lights are as bright as possible,
until the day of death.
But as each trail in life,
falls upon us the air becomes colder,
and the lights begin to fade even more,
slolwy but surely.
But as we push through,
or some comfort comes along,
the darkness,
fades to a shade of light grey,
and some light seeps through again.
But for those of us,
who can never seem,
to find temporary comfort,
from their trails and sorrows,
I wonder if their world,
will become as ebony,
as it does when your heart beat,
slips away,
before your hours of breathing are through.
