Raised in a home with neighbors attached to each wall
Is not my idea of a family home be it big or small
Graduating to a semi-detached home with a little more space
Is much nicer but still remains in the Inner City rat race
I’m not sure I want to live in a gated community behind bars
Enclosed, claustrophobic feelings, trapping even the stars
It is my desire to live surrounded by natures splendor
Accosted by a tranquil life style; more than glad to surrender
Serenity is the foremost word that comes to mind
Atmosphere that expresses exquisiteness made by time
A dynasty could have been started in a home such as this
To be my ancestral abode, this would be my greatest wish
To end my day’s right here is where I would like to be
God’s green country set aside just for my family and me
