Bald Eagle (Linked Haiku)

Mighty eagle, of
Coastal plains, predator of
Fish underwater.

Soaring o'er the land,
Magestic wings extended,
Eyes scanning the ground.

Perched on a branch,
Surveying its kingdom, like
A royal bird king.

It had a nice flow to it. Almost as if the bird was your friend and you knew it well. Nice job.

Very good imagery but there is a difference in painting a pciture and writing a hiaku you have the gernal idea but remember you want to put a moment of wow! in your poem what is considered a moment of enlightenment. It is a hit and miss things so it is not easy to get, but when you do you will know it.
