Comfort offers welcome embrace
from the madly spinning world.
She sleeps within those warm arms
securely, her dreams captivated
by fulgent suns, rippling gently
upon glistening lakes.
Comfort offers smile of welcome
from the insanities of life.
She settles down for idle chatter,
where spite and malice have no hold
friendship smells like chocolate biscuits
warm from the oven.
Comfort offers companionable silence
from the racing noise of here and now.
She says that words are not needed,
to bring dreams to life
or bring love to a heart
that had almost forgotten how to live.

Comfort
At timews like that worn out blanket on a cold winters night. How it can be so decieving. But to know that there are the possiblities. Comfort .. as in the touch of a hand.

I can see where you feel comfort gazing into the picture. A unique take on a simple photograph. Thank you for entering the contest.
