How do I love Thee; could I count the ways?
I love Thee for the gifts of writing and reading
For prayer, music, laughter, and poetry
For beauty in marsh, forest and lake.
I love Thy dunes and seascape;
gulls flying, pelicans diving,
doves, warblers, waders, gliders,
turtles, gentle manatees of gray
Daisy purple flowers' majesty,
colors bursting from mango trees;
so thankful are we for the hand of a friend,
shining light of hope,
myriad things too plentiful to mention
-- grateful for Your Love neverending.

oh very good. I like how you took Elizabeth Barrett Browning's line and transformed it. Nice write, poet.
-
Shakespear is rolling in his grave claiming you stole his line. But the poem on a hole is very very good.
Thank you for entering

Ah, what a pleasure,
a refreshing breeze,
to enter OliviaLand,
where colors fly with ease.
I read and read again,
to picture each line
in full color,
till the image is mine.
Catching up to you...
you get ahead of my reading!!!
