Year 2008 ,
a time where teens truly rate.
Washed their hands from teachers of their time,
the new Batman Verses the dark knight .
The dark knights the street corners is their lair ,
watching and sucking in the young with such flair .
Where discipline has been cast aside,
now our Batmen of today shrivel and die .
What was once the kings of the land ,
today chose the dark knight in which to hold hands .
You see them and hear them cry out in pain,
yet instead of freedom they call out his name .
The young now lives within the computer age,
leaving love behind for a taste of rage.
Led by the dark knight through the deadliest of games,
it's the way he takes them with little re-frame
The walking dead led through addiction you see,
takes them while young and feeling need .
Where are the creators of the Batmen forever after,
in a world that has forgotten family for madness and laughter .
Some are saved yet their friends move on,
with the dark knights promise its love it needs a home.
To glide within the veins and make you fly,
yet going down hill fast with blinded eyes.
The Batmen of today unled and often unloved,
its a waste and the dark knights feels its just enough.
To add to his kingdom through whispers and disquise,
where death looks apealing to the addicts eyes .
They see not those reaching out to save them today ,
violently often they will push love away.
For the whispers becomes louder as the dark knight takes hold,
and destroyes from within until their souls are sold.
