Your light blazes eternally bright
to guide me through this life,
almost hitting many rocks
You save me from such strife.
In breathless wonder dawn I view
sweeping vast across the skies
Your hand of love on this new day
is always a surprise.
Through dark of night and brilliant days
You're the captain of my soul,
a signal that never wavers
and makes my life so whole.
Thank you Lord for Your steadfast light
that navigates me through rough seas,
towards my final destination
where in Your Heaven I'll fly free.
