do you see what i see?

window

Nocturnal symphony,

playing her hallelujah.

Trapped in her tower,

but can't let her hair down.

Purity and Blameless

reside outside the four walls and

present themselves to window sills.

Finding delight in hearing her

play her sweetest song,

like she's set on repeat.

I love the differences that each poet sees in the same picture and yours is a lovely take on this one. Well done and good luck in the contest. Val

I loved the reference to rapunzel, and her tower.
and I think the last line is so so effective, especially written in italics.

this went with the picture beautifully

Thank you cousin for entering. The opening stanza was enchanting and the rest of the poem flowed beautifully from it with a cleverly done last line, a most enjoyable read
